Mindi over at Moms Need to Know has the best deals for Giant this week. Make sure to double check the prices in your local circular, as Giant has different prices depending on areas, but the coupons will match. She also said that she received dollar doubles, but I didn't get any in our area.

Grocery Deals this weekend

This weekend I hit Weis and Stauffer's (SKH) to shop for us and my parents. Here is the breakdown:

So, how did I do? Well, at both Weis and SKH, I spent $41.28, which is still over budget. Michael's 1st birthday is this Friday, so I know I had to buy a bunch of baking supplies that normally I don't buy, so I am over our budget by $5.83 this month, which stinks, but I will find a way to make it up! Maybe I will only buy diapers next week or something.......

(PS--the rest of the grocery money was what I bought for my parents)

Well, their headquarters are in Columbia, PA and they have an outlet store, offering 25-50% off regular retail prices! They even do engraving on glass while you wait or you can order them, depending on their workload. This is a great place to check out for holiday gifts, birthday, wedding or hostess gifts!

The last time I went there, I bought a gorgeous large vase and glasses for Pete with his initials on them. I believe I paid $15 for a set of 4 glasses with etching and about $8 for the vase!

They also have periodic sales, so I would definitely head on over to their website and sign up for the emails alerting to sales and such! It's worth the trip!!
